Moon Costumes Make Dressing Up Fun!

Here's an old concept in a neat, new package. Dress-up costumes for parties and special events (or "Fancy Dress Hire Shops" as the British call them), have long provided a way for people to dress up for Halloween, masques, Renaissance days, community theatre groups, and other special events that encourage people to dress up as someone else. Now, there's a website that offers these same kinds of services to both young and old. You don't even have to track them down in the Yellow Pages.

If you're planning to host a party, you'll want to bookmark Moon Costumes. They offer over 10,000 costumes and masks for the child in all of us. Young dresser-uppers will love their selection of Disney, Superhero, and science fiction characters. Even the more traditional Halloween costumes such as witches and monsters reflect some beautiful designs. The Spooky Spirit Child and Black Widow Bride Child models show creativity and a good eye for design.

Even adults can get into the act. Have you ever wanted to play the role of Glinda the Good or Snow White? Now you can do it to perfection! Even men can get in on the act. Their Fireman costume is quite convincing looking (although you wouldn't want to wear it to an actual fire!). Remember Raggedy Ann and Andy? They're here too. Women who have always wanted to dress up as a Go Go girl can play out their dreams, too. Their bohemian print Go Go outfit is a pure throwback to the free-spirited 1960s.

Holiday costumes are available for Christmas, and patriotic American costumes of the Statue of Liberty and Uncle Sam are also available.

Even somewhat risque costumes are available for people who want to engage in a little harmless fun. There's nothing overtly obscene about these costumes (you wouldn't find them in Victoria's Secret, for example), For instance, have you ever wanted to dress up as Barbara Eden's  lead character from teh old American TV sitcom,  I Dream Of Jeannie? Now you can with their Genie In A Bottle costume! Or dress up as the sexy pirate wench with their Pirate Renaissance costume. Maid Marion types will love the Forest Outlaw costume. Or just dress up as a Grecian Goddess.

Many of their costumes are shown with simple props, but they usually don't come with the outfit. For instance, their Roman Centurion costume shows a short sword, mask and shield, but you'll have to come up with those items on your own. This is a costume shop after all, not a theatrical props department.

Theatre Departments will want to look over some of their historical costume pieces. For instance, if you're putting together a production of a an early American theme, you'll want to check out their catalog of colonial and Civil War outfits.

There's really something for everyone at Moon Costumes. Check them out!
