Interior Web Page Designs
Most designers and developers satisfy themselves with simply creating a top-down linking "tree" to link the pages together. Then, to insure that the search engines spider all the pages, they add a site map listing all of the pages of the site.
We do not do it that way. In fact, we never have to add a site map because of the design of our interior pages that we create get spidered by the search engines in a timely manner. There is a myth that some people in our industry have circulated suggesting that without a site map, you will always have poor search results. However, that is simply not true, and we will prove it to you when we talk with you. Site maps are only necessary for designs that have poor linking structures that encourage spiders to ignore some pages on the site. Common examples of sites with this kind of problem are e-commerce sites and blog sites.
However, the web site pages we create do not have any problem getting spidered. For a chef, the secret of design is in the sauce. For us, the secret is in the linking structure. We are experts at linking the web pages of a site together in such a way that, not only do the search engines spider all the pages on our designs, they also give them the "love" they need in terms of positive search rankings for the site and for individual pages on the site.
